Thanks to everyone for reading this year. It’s been quite a year in so many respects, and let’s hear it for randonneuring and long distance cycling to help us stay sane in these crazy times.
Before the old year bows out, I have to extend a big hat tip to Mike Dayton, editor of American Randonneur, for including my column in the RUSA publication. Mike, as you may have read, is on a century-a-month streak that extends 84 months now. I told Mike I was going to intentionally skip a month so I don’t end up like him! Read more about his streak and how it got started at Research Trailer Park.
Also, let’s not forget that some of us are still racking up those miles while some of us are lounging with family at Crystal Cove. Crista B. recently led the official “Tour de Tiny Town” century to Shippensburg, Pa. See Maile’s photoset for some neat pics of the cute roadside attraction and one grumpy cat.
Best to everyone in 2009!
