Today was longer than yesterday, but not as hard.
We are in Winona, Minnesota tonight, and have completed 612 of 750 miles.
The remainder comes tomorrow with our return to Apple Valley.
Today the field rode 197 miles on a course that featured beautiful orchard and valley views. We also made time for a short picnic table nap.
But the fun also included a number of short but steep ascents and hotter than anticipated temperatures into the upper 80s and low 90s. We also suffered through some bumpy pavement in Lacrosse Country.
My legs are tired. Just one day left.
I’d be interested in Mary’s thoughts on sleep deprivation in a future post.
